Card Verification Process
Before you can deposit any funds with your Credit / Debit card we need to verify that the card actually belongs to you the customer, in order to verify your card, please follow the steps below to complete the verification process:
- Log In to your Island Bet account
- Click “Deposit” button under My Profile
- Select Bank Card deposit Option
- Enter amount you wish to deposit
- Enter 16-digit card number
- Enter expiry date (month/year)
- Enter 3-digit CVV number (Located on the back of your card)
- Click ‘Proceed” button
Contact your bank or login to your online banking to retrieve the registration amount that was charged. The charge will display following message Card Verification Test.
If using a Visa, Mastercard Credit card you will verify the transaction with your bank contacting you with a text message to the registered phone number with the verification number to be entered with in the time-period specified by your Credit Card provider during the verification process
NOTE: Island Bet does not have access to the registration transaction amount, this can only be retrieved from your bank.
- Return to your Island Bet account
- Click “Deposit” button under my profile
- Select BANK CARD deposit option
- Select the same card, it will display “NOT VERIFIED”
- Enter the “Card Verification amount” that was retrieved from your bank account
- Click “Proceed” Button
Making a Deposit with Credit / Debit Card
To transfer funds from your verified Credit / Debit Card please follow the steps below:
- Click “Deposit” button under my profile
- Select Bank Card deposit Button
- Enter deposit amount
- Enter VERIFIED card 16-Digit number or select VERIFIED card
- Click “Proceed” button
After you submit the deposit, temporarily you will be redirected to the issuing bank to complete the 3D Secure process to finish the transaction, which is an extra level of protection used when making payments from your card. In some cases, you might need to log into your online banking to verify ownership of the card by providing security information such as your password, fingerprint authentication, facial recognition or a one-time code to approve the payment. This service is quick, easy and free to set up.
3D Secure Protocol (Security for the user)
3D Secure (Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code) allows for liability shift on certain transactions from the merchant to the issuer (cardholder’s bank) even if the cardholder is not enrolled in the program. This in turn shifts liability from the merchant (Island Bet) from any fraudulent activity and potential chargebacks.
All card transactions are final and non-refundable once the transaction has been completed. In case your credit / debit transaction has been rejected, the funds will be reversed by the card issuer and temporarily not available to use. Most of the time, the money will be released back into your account shortly after.
However, sometimes the funds can be held longer and the amount of time it takes differs between card issuers. If after 3 banking days you have been in touch with your bank and the funds have not been released, then please contact Island Bet.
The company reserves the right to close an Online Betting Account, whether it be as a result of more than one Online Betting Account opened by a punter, or malicious use and Bet placement on their behalf by linked associates, In case where you have made a deposit with your Credit / Debit Card and your account is being closed by us, we will refund your funds via Bank Transfer to your account.

Is it safe to use my Credit / Debit card online?
All online Credit / Debit card transactions are processed adhering to Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards for data security. Our website uses a Transport Layer of Security (TLS) that encrypts data sent over the internet and ensures the safety and security of the data transmitted. This state-of-the-art protection is the same technology used by major banks and financial institutions all over the world.
Multiple Failed Card Verifications
Please be aware that there is a limit on the number of unsuccessful card verifications made from your account within 24-hour period.
If you have reached the maximum number of unsuccessful attempts, you may receive a pop-up when attempting to verify your card.
After first unsuccessful card verification before attempting to verify your card again, please check the details you have entered are correct and that registration transaction amount retrieved is correct. Once you have reached the limit of unsuccessful attempts you will have to wait to try again after 24 hours have passed. If you continue to have failed attempts, contact your issuing bank to verify your attempts.

Multiple Verified Cards
You are able to add additional verified cards to the account and the limit is set to 5 cards that can be added as verified payment options for the particular account. You will not be able to exceed the limit of 5 cards. Once the limit of 5 cards has been reached, you will not be able to add any additional cards.
Verified Card Expiration
Once the verified card has expired, it will no longer be available to be used for funding the account, expiration status will be shown that the card expired. If your card issuing bank provides you with a new card after your previous one has expired, you will need to follow the Card Verification Process again in order to use the new card even if the 16-digit card number remain the same as previously.
- Minimum Deposit per transaction is J$500.00
- Maximum Deposit limit per transaction is J$1,000,000 (Check with your issuing bank for any card restrictions)
- All Cards Used must be the same NAME ON CARD as Registered User
- All Transactions of J$50,000 and above will need head office approval which an image of the card back and front must be uploaded to the KYC section.
